CET acted as financial advisor to Telekomunikacja Polska in disposal process of PayTel. CET assisted Telekomunikacja Polska in structuring the divestment process, negotiation of transaction conditions with the investors, developing post-transaction co-operation concept as well as preparation of relevant documents.

PayTel, a payment processing company, was established within Telekomunikacja Polska Group to facilitate development of electronic distribution of pre-paid services as well as introduction of converging financial services. The company provides its services among others to the TP Group’s companies (in the Group’s retail stores).

PayTel was acquired by Comp, a leading Polish cash registers producer. The new owner plans to integrate the company’s services with its equipment to develop fully fledged payments solution.
