Operational consolidation

In the age of globalization mergers and acquisitions have become a common phenomenon in the world of business. In light of the fact that from over half to more than three-fourths of mergers (depending on the conducted survey) have not proven profitable for the company shareholders, we have developed a comprehensive concept of operational consolidation.

In our approach we propose that the consolidation process be conducted basing on consolidated and optimized business processes. The method allows for obtaining a uniform, effectively organized structure consisting of transparent management units (central, regional) and a clear-cut division of responsibilities (group strategy + standards of operations vs regional strategy and operational activity). An equally important advantage resulting from the adopted operational consolidation approach is preparing the company (group) for the implementation of IT tools, the introduction of Management by Objectives Systems and the possibility of monitoring operational efficiency using comparative analyses.

In the process of executing operational consolidation assignments we work in close cooperation with the clients’ working teams. The teams consist of employees from various branches/group subsidiaries who possess inside knowledge about the company itself and the idiosyncrasies of the market and allow for using best practice methods in developing target solutions. Taking advantage of our internal expertise as well as the knowledge of branch experts we are able to work out, together with the client’s working teams, the most effective organizational solutions to be implemented within a given company.

“The process of operational consolidation requires serious involvement on the part of our clients every time it is conducted. Such engagement has always allowed us to come up with practical and effective solutions which, in turn, have constituted a base for our clients’ further expansion.”
